Wonderful almond paste, with proper sized chunks of roasted almonds. The balance of sweetness, almond, and roasted nuttiness is perfect.

The bun has exactly the right texture and consistency, plus hint of cardamom - the cardamom is marinated in snaps/"brännvin" overnight, but I can't say I could notice that - but perhaps it's not supposed to be directly noticable.

Overall a high class semla with an excellent balance of sweetness and flavours.
