It's been two years (one missed season) since my last semla from Lillebrors. They're good. They are constructed a tray at a time and then not chilled. So they are always a nice temperature, although the cream on mine had started to "cry" a little by the time I ate it.

The bun, as last time isn't quite as doughy as I like them but it has a lovely taste of cardamom. A round lid, which I think visually is excellent but triangular is easier to eat. As for the filling, the roasted salted nuts are wonderful and there were more this season than in 2019. But, because of the quality of nuts, it probably needed a bit more almond paste to balance it up.
