Lilla Caféet på Söder

An attractive little semla with a triangular lid. The almost paste was tasty with big chunks of chopped almond. It was a highlight of the semla.

The bun though had a distinctly home-made feel about it - it reminded me of my early attempts at Semla buns I've made, which weren't great. I've struggled with the patience and timing needed for double-prooved breads. I think Lilla Cafeet does too.

There wasn't much cardamom in the bun either - infact, I'm not sure if the cardamom I tasted was from the bun or my chai latte 😁. 40kr.
