Packaged in a box with a plastic window! No! A first for me today was having a single semla packed in a double semla box with the box on its end. It stopped the semla moving but created a easy to topple tower and not that easy to get out.

Medium large semla at about 9cm. A round lid and a couple of roughly chopped nuts peeking out from under the whipped cream. The cream has lost a little of its definition in the few hours since it was made.

The bun is a little drier than I'd hoped for, but clear taste of cardamom, and I just about got to the paste on the first bite.

The paste is nice, with some finely chopped roasted almonds. I'd like to see a little more crunch though, or perhaps slightly less sugar and a bit more cardamom.

It's good. A solid semla that will is great for people in Kärrtorp who otherwise would have to buy one from Coop!
