First, well done on the takeaway box. No plastic window.

It's a pretty looking semla with an elegant swirl of whipped cream, triangular lid and the almond paste just peaking out from beneath the cream.

It's no small semla, there was a generous amount of almond paste and perhaps just a little too much cream. The bun itself had a bit of a tougher crust, especially along the bottom rim but the cardamom was visible and noticeable.

The almond paste dark and nutty, almondy and sweet, but I think they'd added almond essence to it and as a result loses a bit of balance. The cream had some extra chopped nuts sprinkled on it, which is a nice decorative touch.
