They do three variants. Classic, mini and candied almond.

I went for their Candied Almond Semla, which for a few extra kronor is their classic semla with some roasted and candied roughly chopped almonds sprinkled on top of the paste. In fact there are a few whole almonds too.

It was 170g, 7.5cm wide and 9cm tall making this a medium large semla.

The bun is a little drier in texture than I prefer, but is filled with plenty of ground cardamom.

The cream is a good open star nozzle swirl.

This was nice, and I think it's definitely worth ordering the candied almond semla with the extra crunch and flavour the nuts give you over the classic version.
