From the team that used to be Bageri Petrus on Södermalm, it's a large, 10cm semla, with a triangular lid. It's wider than tall, which makes it look a little squat. I can just see a bit of almond paste at one spot, peeking out from under the swirl of cream.

Inside the smooth paste wasn't as sweet as I expected it to be. Smooth almond paste is often more sugary, but this wasn't and had a deep rich flavour. It was nice, very nice, but as it didn't have any larger bits of almond, it lacked crunch.

Cardamom was visible in the bun, but it didn't quite shine through as strongly as I'd like. As there didn't appear to be any cardamom in the paste, the bun was left to do the heavy lifting cardamom wise. With no cardamom in the paste, you need more in the bun.

The location in Årsta partihaller is unusual, as was the almond paste. This was an enjoyable, and not overly sweet
