Lovely looking mini-semla. The bread has a home-made feel about it, but thankfully much better than when I try at home. What made the bun a little weird though was a completely and utter absense of cardamom 😕 It threw the whole balance of the semla off. The cream was unsweetened with a nice fresh creamy taste. The almond paste was filled with good sized chunks of almond, not too sweet and quite a dry paste - but despite being a mini semla, it was the third bite before I reached it! Little more paste and don't forget the cardamom and it would be at least a 3. 27kr.
