Kicking off the season with a semla from the same place as last year. This season the lid is round rather than triangular, but it's perfectly round and looked glorious. Big thumbs up for the new box - last year it had an unnecessary plastic window, which has thankfully gone. Great size, perfect proportions, chopped nuts in the paste, a hint of cardamom in the bread, cream as professionally piped as you can get. One of the downsides of starting with a semla like this is knowing few others will get close. 45kr.
